The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) is currently investigating a “serious incident” that occurred on Sunday at Robson Square in downtown Vancouver.
While details remain scarce, callers reported a significant police presence, including multiple police cars in the area around 8:30 a.m.
Vancouver Police Sgt. Steve Addison confirmed that the Major Crime Section is leading the investigation and that additional officers will remain on-site throughout the day to collect evidence.
The VPD is expected to provide an update later today or early tomorrow.
