“Quebec’s Top Fugitive, Dave Turmel, Clings to Freedom: Italian Custody Extended!”

Dave (Pic) Turmel, the alleged leader of the Blood Family Mafia, a criminal gang based out of Quebec City involved in a conflict with the Hells Angels, will not be returning to the province until later this fall.

According to the Journal de Montreal, since his arrest this past March, after 610 days on the run, Quebec’s most sought-after criminal recently postponed his legal case in Italy, where he has been incarcerated for almost four months. His case has now been postponed until the end of September.

Twenty-nine-year-old Turmel is suspected of having played a key role in the drug war between his organization and the Hells Angels.

He faces charges of drug trafficking, assault with a weapon and conspiracy. Other charges could be added in connection with the drug war that has been going on since 2023.
