Authorities Urge Community Help to Crack Surrey Stabbing Case

The Surrey Police Service (SPS) is asking for the public’s help in locating 43-year-old Dino Sadi, who is wanted in connection with a stabbing earlier this month.

Police say officers responded to a report of a stabbing near the intersection of 109 Avenue and 148 Street on July 14.

BC Emergency Health Services transported a victim to the hospital.

According to Surrey RCMP, the suspect fled the area before the police arrived.

The Surrey RCMP Provincial Operations Support Unit (SPOSU) has been investigating the incident resulting in a warrant against Sadi.

Police say charges have been approved against the alleged perpetrator, including assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats, and failure to comply with a release order.

Sadi is believed to be in the Lower Mainland and is considered dangerous.

He is described as 6 feet tall (183 cm), and weighing 180 pounds (82 kg), with black hair and brown eyes.

The SPS says not to approach him.
