The TTC says there is no subway service on a section of Line 2 due to a hydraulic fluid leak at Islington Station.
As of 6:30 a.m. Thursday, the transit agency said subways are not running between Kipling and Jane Stations.
Shuttle buses are running between the affected stations. The TTC said as an alternative, riders can also use GO Transit from Kipling Station.
A TTC spokesperson said workers were doing some work near Islington Station overnight when a work car leaked the fluid onto the tracks.
The TTC said crews are on scene cleaning the tracks and hope to restore service as soon as possible.
It’s not yet known when subway service is expected to resume.
This latest subway issue follows a significant service disruption on Line 1 during Wednesday morning’s rush hour, which left thousands of commuters facing delays and scrambling for alternate transportation.
