Early Saturday morning, a shooting in Pickering left two individuals critically injured, prompting their immediate transfer to a hospital.
The Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) responded to reports of a shooting at a parking lot near Liverpool Road and Kingston Road around 1:00 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found two victims with gunshot wounds. The injured parties were swiftly taken to a trauma center in Toronto and are currently in stable condition.
The suspect, as described by DRPS, is a medium to heavy-built male with a light-brown complexion, standing approximately six feet tall. He was last seen wearing a jersey-style shirt and fled the scene in a dark-colored sedan.
