2 men stabbed in suspected fight near Queen and Sherbourne: Toronto police

Two men were taken to the hospital after a reported altercation in the Queen Street and Sherbourne Street area on Sunday afternoon.

Responding to the call before 1:30 p.m., police found a man in his 50s with a stab wound. Paramedics transported him to the hospital with critical injuries.

Another individual linked to the incident was apprehended nearby and also hospitalized for severe wounds from a stabbing.

It is yet uncertain whether the two men had a prior connection. Investigations are currently underway.

The vicinity is heavily monitored by law enforcement, leading to the closure of Sherbourne Street in both directions between Queen Street and Shuter Street.
