Northbound traffic on the Pattullo Bridge, spanning from Surrey to New Westminster, is now moving freely following a multiple-vehicle collision that had initially caused lane blockages on Monday morning.
Reports of the crash first came in to 1130 NewsRadio at approximately 5:50 a.m. The southbound lanes were also temporarily restricted to just one lane, causing significant delays along King George Boulevard extending all the way back to 132 Street. Additionally, traffic flow from New Westminster along McBride Boulevard was congested up to Blackberry Drive.
Although the crash was cleared by 7:45 a.m., residual delays are still being experienced by commuters. For those looking to avoid congestion in either direction, an alternative route is the Port Mann Bridge.
