The Canadian military is currently investigating a disturbing incident that surfaced in a video from 2023. The video allegedly shows five serving members at an event where others were seen performing a Nazi salute. The individuals involved are based in Quebec.
Lieutenant-General Michael Wright, Commander of the Canadian Army, expressed deep concern over the content of the video. He emphasized that such behavior is intolerable and immediate action will be taken to address the issue.
Following the circulation of the video, the military swiftly referred the matter to the military police. Subsequently, five individuals were identified as serving members, although it was not specified whether they are regular or reserve forces personnel.
