Tragic Collision Claims Brampton Truck Driver’s Life on Trans-Canada Highway
A devastating crash on the Trans-Canada Highway near Calgary took a fatal turn as a Brampton truck driver lost his life in a fiery collision. The incident, involving a semi-truck and an SUV, led to a harrowing scene on Highway 1 near Wheatland Trail in Strathmore.
When emergency responders rushed to the site around 2:30 p.m., they found the semi-truck engulfed in flames, trapping the young driver inside. While a passenger managed to escape, the driver, a 24-year-old from Brampton, tragically did not survive.
