Tragic Accident Claims Life of Motorcyclist in Lanaudière Region
A devastating incident unfolded on Monday afternoon in Saint-Roch-Ouest, as a motorcyclist tragically lost control of his vehicle and collided with a power pole. The accident resulted in the loss of the rider’s life.
The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) spokesperson, Camille Savoie, reported that emergency services responded to the crash around 4 p.m. The motorcyclist was navigating a curve on Rang de la Rivière Nord when the accident occurred.
Despite resuscitation efforts at the scene, the victim was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to their injuries. A thorough investigation is underway, led by a specialized police officer to determine the details surrounding the tragic event.
