Montreal’s Biosphere will be temporarily closing due to two major construction projects being carried out simultaneously on the Biosphere’s site.
Space for Life announced the temporary closure of the museum from Sept. 15 to Nov. 17.
Officials say the projects are meant to upgrade the facilities and improve the visitor experience. They hope the closure will help optimize the duration of the construction work with minimal impact.
Smaller construction work projects will continue once the Biosphere is reopened — until 2026.
The museum’s three main exhibitions that will remain reopen after the closure will be: Transformer, Stunning, and Emolab.
