A young man, aged 18, has been taken into custody following a violent incident that occurred on a TTC bus last week.
Police responded to a call in the Weston Road and Church Street vicinity on the evening of August 20 at approximately 6:40 p.m., regarding an assault.
According to investigators, a passenger was targeted while onboard a TTC bus in that area. The assailant, unprovoked, allegedly carried out multiple assaults on the victim.
The victim sustained severe injuries as a result of the attack.
Vincent Robinson, a resident of Toronto, aged 18, has been arrested and charged with assault causing bodily harm in connection to this incident.
Robinson was set to make his court appearance on Wednesday.
