A man in his 60s faced critical injuries in a serious accident at a recycling site in Toronto’s west end on Thursday. The incident took place at a commercial facility close to Rogers Road and Weston Road around 2:30 p.m. The man, who was unloading a dump truck, was unexpectedly hit by a piece of steel.
Emergency responders rushed to the scene and found the man with severe injuries. He was quickly taken to the hospital for urgent medical care. Unfortunately, his condition deteriorated rapidly, and authorities now consider it life-threatening.
