White Rock RCMP Investigating Early Morning Drive-By Shooting Incident
Authorities are currently looking into a drive-by shooting incident that occurred in White Rock during the early hours of Wednesday. The incident took place on Pacific Avenue near Balsam Street between 3:15 and 3:30 a.m.
According to the RCMP, preliminary findings suggest that this might be a targeted attack linked to extortion. The White Rock RCMP is collaborating with investigators from the Lower Mainland Joint Force Operation (JFO) and the RCMP National Coordination and Support Team to explore potential connections to other ongoing cases.
Fortunately, no injuries have been reported as a result of the shooting. The police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage from the area around the time of the shooting to contact the White Rock RCMP at 778-545-4800.
