The Abbotsford Police Department is currently looking into a shooting incident that took place in the early hours of Monday in the North Clearbrook neighborhood.
According to AbbyPD, a residence near the intersection of Clearbrook Road and Balfour Drive was targeted in the gunfire.
Upon responding to the scene, officers found the occupants safe inside the house, all asleep, and fortunately unharmed.
The police have confirmed that the AbbyPD Major Crime Unit is actively investigating to uncover the reasons behind the shooting.
In related news, authorities are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or passed through the vicinity between 1:45 and 2:30 a.m., especially those with dash-cam recordings, to reach out to the police.
