Emergency responders from BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) swiftly responded to an urgent situation at Cultus Lake last Saturday, where an unexpected incident occurred. According to BCEHS spokesperson Bowen Osoko, an ambulance carrying Primary Care Paramedics and an air ambulance helicopter with Critical Care Paramedics were dispatched promptly, with initial emergency first aid provided by bystanders at the scene.
The skilled Primary Care Paramedics administered crucial emergency medical treatment to one individual in need. Fortunately, no patients required transportation to the hospital following the incident, as confirmed by Osoko.
Interestingly, this incident followed another unrelated tragedy just two days prior at Cultus Lake, where a man sadly lost his life after a potential drowning incident. The circumstances surrounding both incidents have piqued public interest, prompting inquiries into the details from various sources, including the RCMP.
