Police Charge Duo in Daring Mississauga Armed Carjacking

Two individuals have been apprehended and accused in connection with an armed car theft in Mississauga, as confirmed by authorities.

Peel Regional Police (PRP) disclosed that the pair of suspects approached the victim on June 19, 2025, while he was stepping out of his vehicle in the driveway of a residence on Mineola Road.

The investigation revealed that one suspect brandished a knife, while the other purportedly had a firearm.

Reportedly, the suspects demanded the victim’s car keys, watch, and cell phone before absconding with his vehicle, a 2023 Mercedes-Benz Maybach.

Fortunately, no injuries were sustained during the incident.

Law enforcement managed to recover the high-end vehicle the following day.

The initial suspect, identified as 19-year-old Ekamveer Randhawa, was taken into custody and charged subsequent to a search warrant execution at a residence in Brampton in July.

Randhawa faces charges including robbery, wearing a disguise with criminal intent, and possession of unlawfully obtained property.

On Thursday, August 28, the second suspect, 20-year-old Parth Sharma from Oakville, was arrested. He has been charged with robbery, wearing a disguise with criminal intent, possession of unlawfully obtained property, and driving while disqualified.

Both individuals were detained for a bail hearing and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice.
