Dîner en Blanc Montreal Celebrates 15th Anniversary in Style
Dîner en Blanc Montreal marked a milestone as it celebrated its 15th anniversary in grand style this past Friday. As is customary for this prestigious event, the venue was shrouded in secrecy until just before the arrival of the esteemed guests.
Sandy Safi, the director of Dîner en Blanc Montreal and the proud owner of the brand and Dîner en Blanc International, exclaimed, “The chosen location this year is absolutely breathtaking!”
The iconic Place D’Armes in Montreal was magically transformed into a stunning fusion of art, fashion, and culinary delights on that memorable Friday evening. The theme “Elegance in Bloom” infused floral elements into every aspect of the event, from costumes to cocktails and decor.
Renowned ambassador and fashion journalist Lolitta Dandoy expressed her admiration for the event, stating, “Dîner en Blanc is a must-attend affair for those who appreciate fine dining, fashion, and the enchanting moments that make us appreciate the beauty of Montreal!”
Guests played an integral role in bringing the vision to life, adhering to the event’s tradition of dressing in all-white attire and bringing their own tables, linens, dinnerware, and gourmet picnic baskets – complete with bottles of wine or champagne – paying homage to the event’s French heritage.
The evening was further elevated by the presence of Ève Salvail, a DJ, actress, and global style icon renowned for her collaborations with fashion powerhouses Chanel and Jean-Paul Gaultier, who provided an electrifying musical backdrop.
Under the guidance of Sandy Safi, Dîner en Blanc International has blossomed from its Montreal origins into a worldwide movement, now spanning over 120 cities across 40 countries since its inception in 2009.
