Toronto authorities are currently looking into the circumstances surrounding a dramatic two-vehicle collision in Etobicoke, where one of the cars burst into flames, resulting in two individuals being taken to the hospital.
The incident took place late at night at the intersection of The Queensway and North Queen Street. Dashcam footage captured the chaotic aftermath, showing one of the vehicles veering off course onto North Queen, crashing into a light pole after mounting the sidewalk.
A quick-thinking police officer, already present at the scene, sprang into action to assist one of the vehicle’s occupants just before it became engulfed in flames.
Emergency responders promptly transported two individuals in their thirties to a nearby hospital, both sustaining non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision.
