A tragic incident unfolded in Ascension-de-Notre-Seigneur, Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, as a young man in his twenties lost his life in a fatal skid, as confirmed by the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) on Saturday.
The unfortunate accident took place just before 10 a.m. when the driver, for reasons yet unknown, lost control of his vehicle, leading to the vehicle rolling over multiple times before coming to a stop in a ravine on the outskirts of 7e Rang Ouest.
Upon the arrival of emergency services, the driver was found unconscious and was rushed to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Authorities have launched an investigation to shed light on the circumstances that led to this tragic event.
