In a concerning series of events, homes in the eastern part of Vaughan have come under gunfire twice within a span of 24 hours.
Authorities from the York Region Police responded to reports of gunshots targeting a residence in the vicinity of Via Romano Boulevard and Allison Ann Way, just west of Bathurst Avenue, at approximately 4:45 a.m. on Sunday.
Not far from this location, another home on Farrell Road was also shot at shortly before 6:30 a.m. the previous day.
Further investigations led officers to Pottery Place and Blue Willow Drive, close to the intersection of Highway 400 and Highway 7, following another incident of gunfire reported at a residence around 4:20 a.m. on Sunday.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported in any of these incidents. Police are actively working to ascertain potential connections between these incidents.
