Soccer fans eager to attend the FIFA 2026 World Cup in North America can secure their tickets starting this Wednesday. To stand a chance at purchasing tickets for the tournament happening in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico, you’ll need luck, faith, flexibility, and a Visa card.
The “presale” exclusive to Visa cardholders begins at 8 a.m. PT on Wednesday and runs until September 19. This presale serves as an entry into a lottery for the opportunity to buy tickets. Approximately one million tickets will be initially up for grabs for all 104 matches of the World Cup next summer.
The presale is open globally to individuals aged 18 and above who have registered with FIFA and possess a Visa card. A random draw from the pool of entries will take place on September 29, with winners receiving a timeslot in October to make their purchases online, with a limit of up to four tickets per match for a maximum of 10 matches.
However, availability is not guaranteed, and the schedule for the matches will only be finalized on December 5. Dynamic pricing will also come into play, meaning ticket prices may fluctuate based on demand.
