A man has been taken into custody by Toronto authorities for suspected animal cruelty involving a dog.
The incident unfolded on August 16 when police were alerted to disturbing videos shared by the suspect threatening to harm his dog. In one video, a woman is heard pleading for the man to stop hitting the distressed dog.
After thorough scrutiny, the arrest was made on September 10, leading to the apprehension of Lionel Howse, 25. Howse faces charges of making threats against animals and causing deliberate pain or suffering to an animal.
