Three men, including Ryan Van Gool, Scott, and Bryce Telford, appeared in a Vancouver courtroom via video for their alleged involvement in a murder plot discovered during the investigation of gangland killer Rabih Alkhalil’s jailbreak in British Columbia. The trio, dressed in red prison clothes, faced accusations of conspiracy to murder in Kamloops, B.C., with a hearing scheduled for Sept. 17. Van Gool, also facing firearms charges, was identified as one of the individuals linked to Alkhalil’s escape from the North Fraser Pretrial Centre in Port Coquitlam in 2022. While one suspect is in custody in another province, the third remains at large. Alkhalil is still on the run, with speculations about his arrest in Qatar unconfirmed.
