The Toronto Argonauts are set to pay tribute to the late John Candy with a special game this Saturday at BMO Field against the Edmonton Elks.
John Candy, a cherished Canadian comedian and former co-owner of the Argos, is being honored through a new documentary titled “John Candy: I Like Me,” which premiered last week at the Toronto International Film Festival.
The game will see members of the Candy family in attendance, and the first 5,000 fans will receive an exclusive John Candy T-shirt. Additionally, the Argonauts will reveal a permanent feature at BMO Field dedicated to the iconic “SCTV” star.
