Tragic Motorcycle Crash Claims Life of 34-Year-Old in Longueuil
A devastating incident unfolded in the Saint-Hubert area of Longueuil when a 34-year-old man lost his life in a collision between his motorcycle and an SUV on Friday morning.
The fatal crash occurred around 6 a.m. on Cousineau Blvd., as the motorcyclist was traveling towards Highway 30, near the intersection of Pierre-Thomas-Hurteau Street. Despite immediate medical attention, the motorcycle rider succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
Authorities from the Longueuil police (SPAL) have indicated that the collision appears to have been accidental. An investigation is underway with multiple officials present at the scene to unravel the causes and details of the tragic event by interviewing witnesses.
To facilitate the investigation process, a perimeter was established between Jacques-Marcil Blvd. and Cornwall Street, prompting authorities to urge the public to steer clear of the vicinity.
