Tragic Motorcycle Crash Claims Life in Oakville
A heartbreaking incident unfolded in Oakville on a Sunday morning, resulting in the loss of a motorcyclist’s life.
According to Halton police officers, the tragedy struck just after 8:50 a.m. at the intersection of Trafalgar Road and Burnhamthorpe Road East. A blue Yamaha motorcycle collided with a black Acura RDX as the latter was executing a left turn.
The motorcyclist, unfortunately, succumbed to their injuries at the scene. On the other hand, the occupants of the Acura, the driver, and passenger, were hospitalized with minor injuries.
In light of the severity of the situation, the Collision Reconstruction Unit has taken over the investigation.
