“Capilano Mall Stabbing Suspect Apprehended by North Vancouver RCMP”

The North Vancouver RCMP has formally charged a suspect in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred at Capilano Mall over the weekend.

Howard Hough of North Vancouver is facing charges from the BC Prosecution Service for assault with a weapon and uttering threats.

The altercation took place on Sunday morning, prompting a swift response from police who were alerted to a fight between two individuals around 9:45 a.m.

Upon reaching the scene, law enforcement discovered a victim who had sustained stab wounds and was subsequently transported to the hospital for treatment of serious, yet non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect was apprehended by the police shortly after and is now in custody.

Authorities have assured the public that this incident appears to be isolated in nature, with no immediate danger to the community at present.

Cpl. Mansoor Sahak, the Media Relations Officer for the North Vancouver RCMP, emphasized that the investigation is still in its early stages, and there are many details yet to be uncovered.

Inquiries are being made to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
