Tragic Single-Vehicle Crash in Vancouver Claims Life of 58-Year-Old

Authorities seek public help in investigation of fatal Vancouver crash that claimed a Richmond man’s life Sunday evening.

The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) is reaching out for assistance following a tragic incident that occurred on Sunday night. A single-vehicle collision with a concrete barrier on the south end of Main Street, close to East Kent Avenue, resulted in the death of a 58-year-old man from Richmond.

Sgt. Steve Addison of the VPD shared that despite efforts to save the driver’s life, he tragically passed away. At this point, the police do not suspect the involvement of drugs or alcohol in the accident.

The VPD is urging anyone with dashcam footage or information related to the crash to come forward and contact them to aid in the ongoing investigation.
