A bear tragically lost its life in a collision on Coast Meridian Road in Port Coquitlam, as confirmed by the Coquitlam RCMP.
The incident took place in the early afternoon near Lincoln Drive, involving a semi truck on the northbound lanes. Responding officers discovered the bear had been fatally injured in the crash.
Upon the RCMP’s notification, the Port Coquitlam Bylaw Services promptly arrived to safely clear the bear’s remains from the road.
