Dramatic CCTV Footage Captures Brazen Arson Attack at Vaughan Business, Suspects Flee Scene

Surveillance footage released by York Regional Police reveals two unidentified individuals breaking into a business in Vaughan and setting it ablaze before fleeing the scene. The alarming incident occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m. on a Tuesday in the vicinity of Centre and Dufferin Streets. Prompt response from Vaughan Fire and Rescue Services successfully extinguished the fire, but evidence suggests that it was a deliberate act involving the use of an accelerant.

The video footage, captured by a nearby camera, exhibits the suspects arriving on foot, forcefully entering the premises by shattering a glass door, and then initiating the fire. Within moments, the perpetrators hurriedly make their escape from the building.

Fortunately, the property was unoccupied at the time of the arson, and no injuries were reported. Despite ongoing investigations, the identity of the suspects remains unknown. Authorities are urging anyone with information or recognition of the individuals depicted in the footage to come forward and assist in solving the case.
