Al Ferraby, a well-known radio personality in Victoria, has been charged with child luring, as confirmed by the BC Prosecution Service.
Allegations against the CFAX 1070 host include two counts of internet luring. The Vancouver Police Department’s Internet Child Exploitation Unit started investigating in September 2024, resulting in Ferraby’s arrest in February this year.
Having been a part of CFAX since 1994, Ferraby, who is 59 years old, has been a familiar voice in the community for years.
Following his arrest, Ferraby has been released from police custody.
