Three Teens Arrested for Armed Robbery and Assault, Police Say

Three teenagers have been charged in relation to a series of armed robbery and assault incidents that occurred in Montreal’s Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie and Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve boroughs from early August to early September.

According to Montreal police, a total of five individuals were targeted in three separate incidents on August 1, August 8, and September 3. The teens allegedly used a knife to intimidate the victims into handing over personal belongings or money.

Following a thorough investigation, authorities arrested three 15-year-olds believed to be involved in the crimes between September 4 and 15. The teenagers are now facing charges of robbery and armed assault. They have been released under certain conditions after appearing in Youth Court and being granted bail.
