A man was hospitalized following a balcony blaze in the vibrant St. Lawrence area over the weekend.
Emergency responders from Toronto Fire Services swiftly responded to a distress call at 176 The Esplanade around 3:31 p.m. on Saturday. The incident involved a fire on the fifth-floor balcony of an apartment building.
Toronto paramedics attended to the scene and transported the injured man to the hospital, where he is being treated for serious yet non-life-threatening injuries.
