“Breaking: Prime Suspect in Paulin Harusha Murder Case Surrenders to Authorities, Faces Murder Charges”

After a nationwide search, a man, Meelad Tarin, 34, has voluntarily surrendered to Toronto police in connection with the tragic shooting of Paulin Harusha, 43. The incident occurred late at night on September 13 in the Victoria Park Avenue and Sheppard Avenue East vicinity, where Harusha was found shot inside a vehicle and tragically pronounced dead at the scene.

According to investigators, the suspect initially fled in an SUV before law enforcement could arrive. Meelad Tarin turned himself in on September 22, 2025, and now faces a first-degree murder charge in relation to the case. Detective Sgt. Alan Bartlett mentioned that while the suspect and victim were known to each other, details of their relationship have not been disclosed.
