Toronto Police Hunt ‘Dangerous’ Fugitive Following Brutal Apartment Stabbing

Toronto authorities seek public assistance in locating a man involved in a violent stabbing incident that took place in the city’s east end during the weekend. The episode unfolded at approximately 1 a.m. on Sept. 21 near Mason Road and Eglinton Avenue East in Scarborough.

As per reports from investigators, the suspect forcibly entered an apartment, launching a brutal attack on the victim by inflicting multiple stab wounds before making a swift exit. Fortunately, the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and received medical attention promptly.

The individual in question has been identified as Brandon Brooks, a 39-year-old resident of Toronto. He is wanted on charges of aggravated assault, possession of dangerous weapons, and violation of probation terms.

Described as standing at five feet eleven inches, weighing 205 pounds, with a solid physique, short black hair, and sporting a beard, Brooks was last seen wearing multi-coloured shorts, a grey t-shirt, and carrying a black backpack at the time of the incident.

Authorities have issued a photo of the suspect and have emphasized that he should be viewed as armed and potentially dangerous. It is strongly advised that if anyone spots Brooks or has information on his whereabouts, they should refrain from approaching him and immediately contact 911.
