A person was hospitalized with critical injuries after getting hit by a car in Brampton early Wednesday. The incident occurred at the intersection of Torbram Road and East Drive, close to Steeles Avenue East, around 6 a.m. Peel Regional Police responded to the scene where the driver stayed and the area was cordoned off for inquiries. More information is yet to be disclosed.
