Tragic Accident Claims Motorcyclist’s Life in Markham
On Tuesday evening, a devastating accident occurred in Markham, resulting in the loss of a motorcyclist’s life due to a collision with a pickup truck.
Authorities from the York police responded to the scene at Major Mackenzie Drive and Reesor Road following reports of a severe collision involving a motorcycle and a truck.
Regrettably, the motorcyclist sustained critical injuries and tragically succumbed to the accident.
As a consequence of the incident, Major Mackenzie Drive has been shut down in both directions, just east of Reesor, to facilitate investigations and ensure public safety.
