A woman in her 60s was hospitalized following a hit-and-run incident in downtown Toronto early Thursday morning. The collision occurred at the intersection of Queen Street East and Church Street, where a pedestrian was struck by a black pick-up truck that fled the scene.
Toronto paramedics promptly transported the injured woman to the hospital, although the severity of her injuries remains undisclosed. The driver responsible for the hit-and-run did not stay at the accident site.
