Teen Arrested in Daring Robbery at Markham Dessert Shop

A teenage suspect has been apprehended by York Regional Police for an attempted robbery at a Markham dessert shop. The incident, where the suspect wielded a wrench but only managed to escape with a single can of pop, occurred at the shop on Copper Creek Boulevard on a Monday evening.

Security footage released by the police shows the suspect, dressed in dark attire and a surgical mask, engaging in conversation upon entry before brandishing the wrench and demanding money.
