A former vaccination nurse working in a Montreal pharmacy has pleaded guilty to forgery and unauthorized use of a computer.
The Anti-Corruption Commissioner opened an investigation after learning that a woman obtained more than $45,000 through the sale of fake proof of vaccinations.
This led to the woman — Kayla Gonçalves — being charged, and on Monday, she pled guilty to those charges.
Gonçalves has been sentenced to 18 months in community prison in the community for producing more than 300 false proof of vaccination for the benefit of 171 users, between Aug. 22 and Nov. 17, 2021.
