“Projet Alliance Manhunt Continues: Quebec Police in Pursuit of 5 Alleged Crime Syndicate Members”

Authorities continue the hunt for five suspects, with three believed to be living abroad, in the aftermath of a major police crackdown on organized crime in Quebec last June.

Dubbed Project Alliance, a collaborative effort between Montreal and the Sûreté du Québec, the operation targeted key figures in three criminal factions within the province – the Italian mafia, Hells Angels, and street gangs.

One of the operation’s most notable outcomes was the arrest of Leonardo Rizzuto, 56, alleged head of the Italian mafia in Montreal. Rizzuto faces charges of first-degree murder linked to the 2011 killing of Lorenzo Lopresti.

Following a three-year investigation, Rizzuto and his alleged co-leader, Stefano Sollecito, were among 11 individuals apprehended that fateful morning.

Currently, five suspects remain at large: Sacha Krolik, Pierry Philogène, Mario Sollecito, Gianpietro Tiberio, and Jean-Ismel Zéphir.

Krolik, Philogène, Sollecito, Tiberio, and Zéphir face serious charges related to past criminal activities, and authorities are seeking the public’s help in tracking them down.
