In a distressing incident on Saturday evening in the Malvern neighborhood of Scarborough, a cyclist was hit by a driver who fled the scene.
The collision occurred at the intersection of Neilson Road and McLevin Avenue shortly before 6:30 p.m., according to police reports.
As of now, the condition of the injured cyclist remains undisclosed as authorities continue their investigation. Shockingly, the driver responsible for the hit-and-run did not stay at the scene.
