Late Surridge Stunner Snatches Draw: CF Montreal and Nashville SC Deadlocked at 1-1

In an intense match, Sam Surridge’s header in the 80th minute secured a 1-1 draw for CF Montreal against Nashville SC in their final home game of the season. Dante Sealy, in excellent form with seven goals in his last nine Major League Soccer games, opened the scoring for Montreal, preventing Nashville from slipping into the play-in bracket.

The game started with both teams displaying dynamic and attacking play, creating scoring opportunities for Hany Mukhtar and Ivan Jaime. Sealy broke the deadlock for Montreal with a superb free kick early in the match, showcasing his impressive form.

Despite Nashville dominating possession for a significant portion of the first half, Montreal’s solid defense thwarted any attempts to equalize. An offside ruling denied Montreal a second goal, adding to the suspense of the game.

Nashville continued their control in the second half, but struggled to break through Montreal’s defense. Surridge came close with a header hitting the post before finally finding the net with a free header ten minutes from time. Both teams pushed for a late winner, but the match ended in a hard-fought draw.
