The previous record high for October 6 stands at 26°C, but that could be shattered as thermometers are projected to climb to 28°C — with a feels-like temperature of 31°C when factoring in the humidity.
Looking ahead to the evening, ECCC anticipates a few clouds rolling in and a low temperature of 19°C.
As we move into Tuesday, the forecast calls for rain showers to make an appearance.
Cloud cover is likely to increase in the morning before precipitation sets in. Despite a high of 23°C on the horizon, it could feel more like a toasty 28°C with the humid conditions.
By Wednesday, the sun returns with temperatures cooling down to 16°C.
Thursday brings more sunshine, but with temperatures dipping further to 12°C.
