A man was hospitalized following a stabbing incident near Cabbagetown in Toronto.
Authorities responded to a stabbing report at Wellesley and Bleecker streets at approximately 9:45 p.m.
The victim was swiftly transported to the hospital with severe injuries.
Police confirmed that the suspect had escaped the scene.
