A tragic incident unfolded in Longueuil on Monday afternoon as a young motorcyclist lost his life in a collision with a public transit bus.
The spokesperson for the Longueuil Police, Mélanie Mercille, revealed that the fatal crash took place at approximately 5:15 p.m. at the crossroads of Chemin de Chambly and Rue de Gentilly Est.
Upon impact, the motorcycle erupted in flames, resulting in the immediate death of the rider at the crash site. Authorities conducted an interview with the bus driver involved in the incident.
