A school in Scarborough near Midland and Danforth avenues went into lockdown following reports of a shooting in the vicinity. Police responded to gunshots heard in the area just before 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Law enforcement discovered evidence of gunfire near Corvette Park, situated on Corvette Avenue near Kennedy Road. The Scarborough Centre for Alternative Studies is on lockdown, with Corvette Junior Public School under hold and secure procedures during the ongoing police investigation.
