Former Fashion Mogul Peter Nygard’s Charges Stayed by Winnipeg Judge

The charges stem from an incident in 1993, where a woman reported being sexually assaulted at a warehouse in Manitoba’s capital. Nygard, who is currently 84 years old, continues to face legal battles, including upcoming trials in Quebec and extradition to the United States on charges related to sex trafficking and racketeering.
Despite being sentenced to 11 years for sex offenses in Toronto last year, Nygard remains entangled in legal troubles on multiple fronts.
