More than 60 Montreal firefighters swiftly reacted to a fire that broke out in a mattress store in Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie on a Wednesday evening.
The incident unfolded at approximately 7:20 p.m. when a 911 call alerted authorities to the two-alarm fire in a two-storey commercial establishment located on Saint-Hubert Street close to Jean-Talon.
Fortunately, there were no injuries reported as a result of the fire, and investigations are currently underway to uncover the root cause of the blaze.
